Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
This policy describes how Integral Design Software (“IDS”) handles information in the my Smart Display app. Any user’s information is totally private.
IDS does not collect, store, sell, or share user information. IDS does not operate an account server for my Smart Display and never receives your personal information.
Information stays on your devices
Layouts, calendar events, photos, account details, and sign-in tokens stay on your own devices. They are not sent to IDS.
If you sync a design from your tablet to a display, that sync happens only on your local network, between your own devices.
Google and Microsoft sign-in
If you choose to sign in, the app asks Google only for read-only calendar
access (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly) so
it can show your events. It does not create, change, or delete calendar
events. Microsoft calendar access, when you use it, is read-only in the
same way.
Those providers’ own policies apply to the sign-in you start. IDS never receives that data. Tokens remain on the device where you signed in.
You can also show calendars from Yahoo or from an ICS link you provide. Those credentials and feeds stay on your devices as well.
